Plymouth-Canton Community Literacy Council
We are a volunteer, non-profit organization aiming to improve adult literacy in Plymouth-Canton and surrounding areas of Western Wayne County. Our mission is to provide adults in Western Wayne County who have limited English language abilities in developing vital reading, writing, and communication skills to help them participate in the community and reach their potential in life.
Join CLC for the Plymouth-Canton Bookfest on October 2 from 10 am - 4 pm located at PARC, Plymouth Arts and Rec Complex, 650 Church Street in downtown Plymouth. There will be books, authors, and free Yoga! Here is the Bookfest link for more details: https://plymbook.com/plymouth-canton-bookfest-festival-guide/
Community Literacy Council's Inclusion and Anti-Harassment Policy
At CLC we work with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. CLC is a safe place, absent of xenophobic, racist, and sexist language and behavior. Further, sexual harassment of any form will not be tolerated. Our values at CLC support our beliefs of inclusivity and respect for all people. Our students are shown the kindness, respect, and grace that each member of our CLC family deserves, so that they may continue to thrive in our community.
