Register for One-on-One Tutoring

Do you qualify for one-on-one tutoring?

Students are eligible for a tutor if they meet the following requirements:

✅  At least 18 years of age

✅ Live or work in Western Wayne County

✅ Agree to pay a $25 registration fee

✅ Commit to meet with a tutor once a week for 6 to 12 monthss  

✅ Function at or below a ninth grade English level

One-on-one tutors and students must meet in a public location. 

Tutor and learners typically meet once a week for 1.5 hours.

If you are interested in applying for a one-on-one tutor, please complete an online application.  Once we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule an English assessment.  This takes approximately 30 minutes.  If you qualify for tutoring services, every effort will be made to match you with a suitable tutor.
